"Fishy Fishy in the brook....". Does anything look more yummy then this. My husband had a blast catching these and I think he even enjoyed the look on my face when I saw them, as he was carrying them to the fish cleaning spot by the pump house. I took one picture and realized that with nothing to compare them to, size wise, that they looked like healthy minnows. So I put the fillet knife down along with them to compare. So, No, that's not a paring knife. After these fish were cleaned, de-boned, and cut into cooking size pieces, filled an ice cream pail completely full. We just finished eating our first meal of the year and I would have to say that nothing compares to fresh fish. Mmmmmm. The top 3 are northern and the bottom 2 are walleye. We also had some crappie to add to this feast. I kept the majority of the northern to put in the freezer for another fish frenzy feed. I also want to save a bunch of northern to pickle. Nothing beats my moms recipe for pickled fish. None can compare!!
